Orders for collection...
Please note you are ordering for collection between the times you have chosen on checkout. If you do not collect between the stated times and on the stated date you have chosen you will still be charged for your order.
If you know your aren’t able to make it, after you have placed an order and paid in full, you can contact us via our social media pages (Facebook – The Hidden Kitchen or Instagram – @thehiddenkitchenmcr) up until the day you are due to collect before your collection time to cancel. If you let us know 24 hours before we will process a full refund and try to re sell your cakes. If you contact us to cancel on the day of collection you may be charged 50% of your order total.
Our collection slots are there to make the process in the shop easier when you come to visit us so we know what time to expect you! It also ensures people travelling from further afield will definitely be able to get some goodies so we don’t run out before you get here! So please only order if you’re going to be able to collect.
If you aren’t sure whether you’ll make the collection times stated we would ask that you don’t reserve the stock online to give someone else a chance instead. You’re welcome visit us on one of our open counter days instead where you can buy from the shelf.
If you have placed an order and paid in full online but don’t collect it and don’t contact us to let us know. We will contact you via your email address provided to try and arrange an alternative collection day. We are closed Sundays and Mondays so the next time we may be able to offer a collection time is 8am on the following Tuesday. We will hold your cakes (if safe to do so e.g. no fresh cream) for one week after your collection date. If they are still left uncollected with no response from you we will dispose of them accordingly or donate them to a charity cafe.
